HALO EFFECT (Rome, Italy) "New Romantic Industry" In the autumn 2001, the Halo Effect project started in Rome by the union of different music experiences. The band's aim is to create an original electronic music product, with clear artistic references (first of all Depeche Mode, the german electro music in general, synth-pop, darkwave and EBM). The feelings go from synth-pop to darkwave, arriving to electrogoth, always marked by black pictures. The live overdrive has led them to play in several parts of Italy and to share the stage with important artists as Melotron, The Cruxshadows, Steve Naghavi (And One), De/Vision, Bloody Dead & Sexy, Greenhaus and Krisma (an all-time italian punk band!), in the DM-Parties circles, but above all in concerts where they played their original tracks. After their first 2 demo cd "Past Continuous" and "Days of Silence" and the up-to-date "Schwarz E.P.", that obtained an excellent success by the audience and critics, Halo Effect has just finished their first full-length self-producted (and mixed in studio by Nicola Di Già) “New Romantic Industry”.
